Brooke and Michael

I just wanted to give some love to my sister-in-law Brooke and her fiance Michael. Michael recently proposed to Brooke on a Caribbean Cruise! Congratulations guys! Brooke and Michael are a wonderful couple and our families could not be happier. They make their home in Atlanta and have a killer vacation home in Tybee Island, GA. We always look forward to spending time with them because regardless of the place and time, we always have a blast! They are the funnest (is that a word?) couple I know. We will keep you posted on their engagment and any wedding details that will arise. I have a funny feeling that when they do set a date, that they will not have to look too far for a photographer!

Brooke was a part of the wedding we did last weekend. Before the ceremony, I saw Brooke gazing out the window and looking like Grace Kelly, so I grabbed the shot. I love it! Isn't she a beauty???

Here they are enjoying a dance together.

Congratulations to the two of you and more importantly, God Bless you both!

Stephani and Jayson get married!

Saturday June 24, 2006 was a beautiful day for a wedding! We had all of the ingredients to cook one up too! A handsome groom, beautiful bride, gorgeous bridal party, family, friends, sunshine, entertainment and a great party. We had a wonderful time at Rolling Hills Country Club in Peters Twp. The ceremony was held outdoors. The white chairs, arbor and flowers set the scene perfectly. The reception room was decorated with white linens and beautiful centerpieces and gorgeous cake. The room was glowing from the sunshine and linens until sunset. Once the sun was down, the party really started with entertainment provided by DJ Spike Real. He is such a great DJ and a great guy to boot! He got everyone out on the dance floor by continually playing one good song after another. You can check him out here. Here are a few of our favorites from the day: Thank you Stephani and Jayson for letting us capture your day!

June 10, 2006

I had the pleasure of working with Heather Lahtinen (Weddings By Heather), this past weekend, to document the wedding day of Ana and Nick. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day. A great couple, blue skies, cool temperatures and lot of friends and family. This was a huge wedding! The wedding took place at the Southpointe Hilton Garden Inn. There were actually two ceremonies! The Christian ceremony was held outside and a Persian ceremony was held inside. Both ceremonies were beautiful! Thank you for letting me be a part of your day!

More Kids

We have been doing a lot of kids shooting lately, which has been lots of fun! Shooting kids in a 'lifestyle' kind of way makes all the difference in the world. Just letting kids be kids, is the BEST ingredient for great images. We have really stepped away from the 'JCPenney' portrait look. It is so hard to get a child to look natural and relaxed in a formal setting. Our style of shooting really brings out a kid's personality. When you look back at the pictures, for years to come, they will still be as real as they were when they were captured.

We like to show up, talk and play with the kids for a few minutes so they become comfortable with us. Then we just step back and start shooting. A typical session lasts 1 hour. Usually after an hour, a child is ready to move onto something else :-). Infants, though not as mobile get tuckered out too! Please Contact us to schedule a session for your kids!

Isabel

I had the opportunity to photograph our niece, Isabel, a couple of weeks ago. I have to say that this was the easiest shoot and easiest edit I have ever done. All I did was show up and was able to capture beautiful images! She is a kid supermodel! She is such a beautiful little girl. Izzy is just over two and has such a great time being a kid. We love her dearly! Here are a few:

Saturday June 3rd

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of working with Kelly and Bill. Kelly made such a beautiful bride! This was a very small gathering of both families for the celebration. We had a wonderful day working with both families. We did not have the opportunity to meet the bride and groom before the wedding, so needless to say we were very happy to be able to meet and get to know each other a bit. They were married at St. Joan of Arc in Library, PA and the reception was at the Southpointe Hilton Garden Inn. We battled with a bit of rain, but overall the day was beautiful. Congratulations to the two of you and God Bless!

Family Shoot

We have been very busy lately shooting weddings, families and children. In fact, we have been so busy shooting, we have not had the time to update our blog as often as we like. This morning I wanted to post a few images from a family shoot we did at Twin Lakes, in Greensburg, PA. We had a lot of fun with the kids, especially. We did some big group photos as well as individual families and some candids of the kids. It was an overcast and rainy morning, however we did manage to get the shoot in and capture some great images! Here are a few from the session:

Happy Birthday Brayden

Brayden was born June 1, 2005 at 12:09pm. Today I have been reflecting back on the day he was born. What joy Brayden has brought to our lives. He is a beautiful, happy little boy! I couldn't be happier being his mother. God has given Brayden to us as a gift from him. For that, I am eternally grateful.
